Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church and former president of the Southern Baptist Convention, apologized to me this week at the Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting in Indianapolis.
I was rushing toward the auditorium where the convention was held and I accidentally bumped into Jack Graham. I quickly said, “Excuse me. I’m sorry.” to which he replied something to the effect of, “No, excuse me. I’m sorry.” The end.
Congratulations. I knew you’d be rubbing shoulders with big shots some day.
Yes David, It has begun.
Just don’t forget us little people.
A touching story. I was weeping by the time I got to the end.
You are going to go down in the annals of storytelling with the likes of Dickens.
Wow.

I’m impressed.
I’m jealous.
I suppose I should apologize for being jealous, but I don’t think I’m worthy to apologize to you.
That was definitely a close encounter of the Arminian kind.
