I’m back in Florida tonight for the annual Bible conference at Way of Life Baptist Church in Titusville, FL.  This is the church which my dad pastors.  I will be preaching tomorrow morning, as well as once more during the week (the meeting lasts until Wednesday).  Three other preachers are scheduled to preach as well.

This trip comes on the heels of a trip to Louisville, KY on Friday to complete “Field Essays” (read “Entrance Exams”) and an interview with the church history faculty of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  I have applied for the PhD program and hope to have the opportunity to begin PhD studies this Fall.  Please pray for me, the church history department at SBTS, and the Admissions/PhD office, for wisdom in discerning God’s will in this matter.
