FBC Jacksonville Pastor’s Conference

Another conference of a slightly different flavor which began over the weekend is the Pastor’s Conference hosted by First Baptist Church, Jacksonville FL. FBC, Jacksonville is the church which Dr. Jerry Vines served as an expository preacher for many years and is now served by Dr. Mac Brunson (for some reason I get several hits a day of people “googling” his name). One of the great gifts of this church is that they video broadcast their services live on the internet. Today is the last day of the conference, so you’ve already missed messages by the likes of Al Mohler, Paige Patterson, Danny Akin, and Johnny Hunt. But you still have a few more chances to watch today:

  • 2:30 pm – David Allen (Dean of the School of Theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he also serves as Professor of Preaching and Director of the Center for Expository Preaching)
  • 3:30 pm – O. S. Hawkins (President of GuideStone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention)
  • 7:00 pm – Erwin Lutzer (Pastor of the Moody Memorial Church in Chicago, IL)
  • 8:00 pm – Junior Hill (longtime Evangelist)

I’m not 100% sure this will work, but I think that if you copy this link and open the URL in your Windows Media Player at the appropriate times you will be able to access the live video feed. If not, use the links provided by visiting the church’s broadcast page.

  1. I’ve been to that conference a few times, myself. I always enjoyed it and received a blessing.

And they don’t hold you hostage for offerings like some conferences used to do. :-)
