Union Hosts Baptist Identity Conference

Page, Patterson, George, Rainer, Dockery

Beginning on Thursday February 15, 2007, ten key Southern Baptist leaders will descend upon the campus of Union University to participate in the second annual Baptist Identity Conference. This year’s conference has the theme of: “Convention, Cooperation and Controversy.” The speakers for this conference include men such as: Frank Page, Paige Patterson, Timothy George, Russell Moore, Thom Rainer and David Dockery. This conference looks like a “must attend” for all Southern Baptists interested in the direction of the Convention.

The conference will begin at 2 pm on Thursday, the 15th, with the last session scheduled to start at 10 am on Saturday, the 17th. The cost for the conference is $50, which includes three meals. You can register for the conference by clicking here.

  1. I saw on Nathan’s blog that you’re coming too. I’m glad you’re going to be able to make it!

Seriously, I’m looking forward to it.

  2. I plan on blogging about the conference, but not technically “live-blogging.” Will you be able to attend, Jonathan?
